A mobile app based lending platform for micro loans. Company of 60 employees.​ ​ 

SCOPE:​ 

A full tech DD with a particular focus on the application of Machine Learning.​ ​ 

FINDINGS & RECOMMENDATIONS:​ 

Only moderate iteration recommended on current tech stack to meet future growth plans. Guidance offered on selecting the right architecture to support the growth. Guidance offered on an ethical approach to data  storage, privacy and security, applying principles from EC’s Ethical Framework.  

 

Example 2-  

An end-to-end logistics platform, with a company of over 60 employees.​  

SCOPE:​ 

A full tech DD with particular focus on the architecture use of 3rd party services.​  

FINDINGS & RECOMMENDATIONS​ 

Architecture improvements for the refactoring of the product and services from a monolith architecture to microservices. Updates to their language and tech stack recommended to support growth. Caution raised regarding the use of 3rd parties and associated dependency risk. 

 

Example 3 –  

An online pharmaceutical information and retail platform.​  

SCOPE:​ 

A full tech DD investigating specific questions related to scale and future burn rate.​  

FINDINGS & RECOMMENDATIONS:​ 

Validated existing and projected tech spend and provided our assessment of future plans related to rapid team expansion, software stability and infrastructure.
